How edgy are these new models, exactly?
Well, for starters, there's the fantastically sporty new F 800 S and F 800 ST, two quick, agile, middleweight sport bikes that are right in the sweet spot. Powered by an 85 hp parallel twin - a whole new engine platform for BMW Motorrad - the F 800 S and ST are lightweight and have all the juice you need for screaming around the twisties, roaring through the city, or going on extended rides.

But we're only getting started with the F 800s. Because we've also got the new, totally edgy G-series. Yes, we've made single cylinder bikes before, but never this out there. For 2007, we've made 'em lighter. Faster. And hipper than you've ever imagined:

There's the G 650 X Moto, our nimble, supermoto-styled ripper. The G 650 XCountry, a classic all-around scrambler. And the G 650 XChallenge, the single cylinder counterpart to our HP 2 Enduro, and a punchy revved up trailblazer that will thrill everyone with dirt in their blood.

Add the raw and refined, 109 hp R 1200 R, a bike that Cycle World said "pulls like a freight train," and all of our updated machines like the K 1200 R Sport and R 1200 GS Adventure, and the result is the edgiest lineup of motorcycles we have ever created.
