We rode 1400 miles in three days during the BMW RA Rally at the Biltmore Estate in Ashville, NC. The best part of the trip was the 500 miles we put on our bikes Saturday (9 June) tearing up the mountain roads. And of course the highlight was riding the "Tail of the Dragon" (Highway 129) heading west out of Deal's Gap... 318 turns in 11 miles!

The County had just "chip sealed" the road and didn’t want to get sued for paint damage from flying chips. We proved the sign to be wrong!
