The 1998 BMW R1200 C

Authentic Cruiser Style
Authentic BMW Quality

Style. Comfort. Power. Performance. Reliability. Uniqueness. These aspects are what have made the new 1998 BMW R1200 C Cruiser a modern-day classic in the short time since its release.

Whether you're a touring rider, a cruiser rider, or a sport rider -- this motorcycle is like nothing you've ever ridden before. The flat twin engine delivers smooth power with plenty of torque to a chassis with the most advanced suspension system available on a cruiser-styled motorcycle. The classic instrument panel and sweeping bars offer the rider an excellent combination of asthetics and control. Plus, there's plenty of chrome to catch the eye.

Function and form are beautifully combined in the spoked wheels, elegant tail light, smooth tank lines, and comfortable seat (adjustable for 1 or 2 riders). The paint (available in Canyon Red Metallic with silver pin striping, Midnight Black with white pin striping, Ivory with blue pin striping) is applied with delicacy and skill. The polished metal components are fit with all the excellence the world has come to expect from BMW. People seem to agree -- this is an extremely well made motorcycle.
BMW also offers an extensive line of accessories with which to customize your 1200 C. From luggage to an available ABS braking system, BMW seems to have thought of everything. Also available is a line of apparel and riding gear as unique as the Cruiser itself.

Want to turn heads in your neighborhood? The BMW R1200 C can do that... and a whole lot more.
