Detailed option descriptions
Cruise control
Cruise control enables relaxed travel during long stretches at a constant speed. It is not necessary to hold the throttle grip in position. This allows the hand to rest without pressure on the handlebar grip and without bending the wrist.

Heated handlebar grips (automatic)
When the weather is cooler, heated handlebar grips prevent cold fingers to make for a pleasant ride even during inclement conditions.
In conjunction with the on-board computer, the automatic system’s first setting ensures the right level of heat as a function of the outside temperature. The second setting sets the heating level to max for extreme coldness or to heat the handlebars up quickly, the bike has an outside temperature sensor.

Seat heating
Falling temperatures no longer mean an uncomfortable ride. Seat heating in two settings warms the seat effectively and to a comfortable temperature. The rider and pillion passenger seats can be controlled separately, and the setting is shown on the display.

On-board computer
The on-board computer allows the rider to call up machine data which is then displayed clearly on the Info-Flat-Screen. The computer is operated simply and conveniently via the “BC” button on the right adjuster. The following functions are available:
- Distance before refueling
- Average speed
- Average fuel consumption
- Oil level warning
- Outside temperature with
- black ice warning at 3°C

TPM
The Tire Pressure Control System reliably informs the rider of the given tire pressure and temperature. If a significant deviation from the set values occurs, a yellow info light or a red warning light appears in the Info-Flat-Screen. The pressure data is ascertained via battery-powered radio sensors on the wheels. Note: Available from MY 2007 on; can be retrofitted to all K 1200 GT from then onwards as an optional accessory.
