Case holder The saddle bag mounts are designed so that the slim rear lines are not impaired when the bag mounts are fitted. Due to the slim design, a luggage rack cannot be fitted on the saddle bag mounts. The accessory “Saddle bag mounts with luggage rack” is required for this. The pannier mounts included in the scope of supply are large enough to take the baggage rack. |

Sport Windshield The Sports windshield affords the rider moderate protection against air streams for the size of windshield and gives the R 1200 R a more sports feel. The scratch-proof coating ensures long-lasting transparency and long-lasting high-value definition. If comfort is a greater priority, the accessory “high windshield” can be selected. |

Cases The saddle bag system offered on the R 1200 R corresponds with that on the R 1200 RT. These watertight panniers hold 32 liters (8.3 gallons). The storage space is easily accessible with a simple lock mechanism. Due to the well thought-out design, the overall width of the motorcycle with saddle bags is relatively narrow despite the generous storage space. |

Tank Bag The tank bag was specially developed for the R 1200 R and adapts perfectly to the shape of the tank. The main part of the tank bag is expandable and is watertight due to the splash-proof zip closure and a taped lockable interior bag. This dispenses with the need for an expensive, awkward rain-cover. At the back of the tank bag is an additional non-watertight pocket with a separate zip closure. The map pocket on the new R 1200 R tank bag is likewise watertight and holds standard size road maps. |
