Homeward bound
After an exhausting eight months on the road, Sebastian Klein has finally completed his Munich to Bangkok ride, although the journey didn't end as he had originally planned. Over the past months, Sepp has had to endure food poisoning, blistering heat and altitude sickness on his epic journey; however it was the recent well-publicised political demonstrations in Thailand that ultimately had the biggest impact on his plans.
The end is in sight!
Soaking up the sun in the idyllic surroundings of Koh Chang, Thailand, Sebastian Klein is a world away from Munich where his epic journey began almost eight months ago. The former BMW Motorrad intern is within touching distance of his final destination, Bangkok, and plans to arrive in the Thai capital in a matter of weeks.

Felix returns home
After more than two years riding his BMW R 80 GS around the world, Felix Bergmeister has safely returned home to Austria. The final challenge saw Felix leave South Africa en route to Russia via South Korea and then ride from Vladivostok all the way back to Europe, experiencing some of the worst road and weather conditions imaginable in Siberia.

Out in Africa but not alone
Try to imagine if you can, what 400 BMW GS bikes gathered in a single location looks like and sounds like. The bark of 1100, 1150 and 1200cc boxer twins; the whine of the 650 singles; and the rasp of the 800s – this was the scene that greeted the former gold rush town of Leydsdorp when the fifth African GS Challenge transformed it into a hive of all things 'GelandeStrasse'.
