BMW Santa Cruz Presents:
A special slide-show and presentation about motorcycle touring in Central and Eastern Europe.
FREE LUNCH INCLUDED!
On Saturday, February 21st at 12:00pm, Matej Malovrh, Owner of Adriatic Moto Tours, will be with us to talk about touring some of the less-travelled countries of Central and Eastern Europe. While the countries of Western Europe have long been discovered by mass tourism, Central and Eastern Europe provide everything a traveler could want from a tour in Europe, plus more. Matej will share his stories and adventures from six years of touring Central and Eastern Europe in a one hour photo slide-show and presentation at our dealership.

At the presentation, you will hear about:
What it's like to ride the empty roads through the forest-clad mountains of Slovenia and Bosnia, visiting the oriental-inspired city of Sarajevo, then returning up the azure-blue Adriatic Coastline of Croatia, past UNESCO world-heritage cities like Dubrovnik and Sveti Stephan.
How it feels to travel past the romantic castles and through the magnificent Baroque towns of Czech Republic and Hungary, with cities like Prague and Budapest that once hid behind the iron curtain but are today more excited and inviting than ever.
The exhilaration of riding the Stelvio Pass in the jagged, snow-capped Dolomite Mountains of Italy, a pass with 39 switchbacks up one side and 48 down the other.
The freedom of touring the rolling Tuscan Countryside to get to what many Europeans consider their secret, the place with the best motorcycle roads in all Europe: the islands of Sardinia and Corsica.
What it's like to tour the traffic-free roads of Macedonia and Montenegro, with their ancient Byzantine towns and churches, into Greece, where riding through a valley past ancient sites, like the Monasteries of Meteora or the Ruins of Delphi, is best done on a motorcycle.
Adriatic Moto Tours offers guided tours and self-guided tours. Guests with AM Tours stay in the nicest accommodations in the area, ride late-model motorcycles, and are accompanied by a support vehicle which can carry passengers and luggage. Riders can stay with the group or strike out on their own, accompanied by route-guides and GPS. Motorcycle rentals are also available.
