My wife loves the new bars and after riding over 300 miles with no pain makes all the different to her and we do not have to replace the bike.
I would like to say a few things about your dealership and specially about you.
My wife had a problem that the bike was not comfortable with the handlebars that it came with. After a little research I found out that Wunderlich makes touring bars that may solve the problem.
After ordering them from you I tried very hard to get them installed in Los Angeles. Well, Two dealers did not want to deal with this issue since it is not an original BMW part, one took a look at it and said it can't be done and the fourth one took the old one off and could not install the new bars.
This is were you came in to the picture. You went the extra mile. You were willing to try an installation on one of your bikes and after succeeding e-mailed me back and also included pictures.
I could have gone with them to one of the local dealerships but decided that it was appropriate for me to ride all the way from LA to Watsonville for you to do the work. You have earned it.
So, I just wanted to say thank you again for your true willingness to help and solve a real problem and also please thank the mechanic that really did the work.
I would like to let you know what a great experience I had at BMW OF SANTA CRUZ purchasing my 2008 K1200S last Wednesday. I especially appreciate the 'Superior' customer service from Mr. Shawn Thomas and his fellow associates from the initial greet, closing the deal and follow-ups to see how I am enjoying my new BMW and parts on order. I have never felt so welcome and at ease during the entire process. Mr. Shawn is the perfect role model for the rest of associates to follow in terms of 'Superior Customer Service'. He is very personable and honest, more like a friend than a sales person.

I ordered a couple of small parts for my RT via your web site. Late this afternoon I received a phone call from your parts department telling me they had received my order, and giving me tracking numbers so I could track the progress of my order.
I just wanted to let you know that I think this "contacting the client" regarding an order is a very cool thing to do. It's all about personal service. This evening, I was impressed with the phone call. It is an outstanding example of customer service excellence.
I just purchased a '03 650CS on Saturday. I just have to say that the bike is much fun, very easy to ride and handles well. I am very pleased. Also, everyone I interacted with at BMW Santa Cruz over the month or so period I spent researching and looking at the bike was very helpful and friendly. I plan to accesorize the bike when I can, so I am sure I will be down soon.
Thanks for taking care of my order and getting it to me first thing Saturday morning...I was able to put on the windscreen, the fender extender, and the map case and hit the road early... it all worked out great. Nice to know there are still people out there who care about customer satisfaction. I'll be placing orders again in the future.

Today I took my R1100S in for service to Santa Cruz BMW. From start to finish, they could not have been nicer, or more professional, or more friendly, or more helpful. From Bill Plam (who greeted me warmly and professed to remember me...) to Marc Corker (who also was quite friendly and welcoming) to the service staff (professional and helpful) and sales staff -- well, it was a truly positive experience. Sure changed a lot of my (apparently unfounded) preconceptions. Even the final cost was in line with the original estimate. Bottom line: I will certainly take my bike back to SC BMW for service, and when I get to the point of buying a new bike, they will be my dealer of choice.
