Our original location, a converted warehouse building in 1985, prior to receiving our first shipment of new BMWs, which occurred in January 1986. |
| A closer look at the showroom window. |

Our service department, where we serviced cars and bikes for the first seven years of our existence. |
| A peek into our parts department, seen from the showroom. |

A very early view of the showroom, looking in from the front door. |
| Near the end of time in this location, a view of the showroom looking forward. This image is probably from around 1991. |

Another view of the service department in the early 1990's back when Bill (in overalls) was still the chief technician in the shop. |
| In 1992 it was time to leave car repair behind and concentrate on bikes. By now, we had put enough BMW motorcycles on the road in our area to make it possible. We moved into this small, 1600 square foot building beside the freeway. |
During the day, the bikes went outside and each night, we strategically packed the bikes inside. This task required more skill and planning than just about anything else! |
| Here's Bill at the parts counter, very soon after moving in to the "new" shop. |

In April 1993, we very proudly unveiled the new R1100RS at an evening event for a select handful of friends and customers. Here you see Marc and Bill removing the cover of the first oil head in Santa Cruz. |
| Here's the showroom as it appeared in the late 1990's. |
Our service department which occupied much of the building and was combined with the parts department. |
| Two of us (Bill and Marc) started out in this location in 1992 and now our staff had tripled in size. We had to move, simply put. |
We found a piece of land in nearby Watsonville which was well suited for needs. |
| Plans were made for a brand new BMW Motorcycle center. |
With all of the reams of red tape behind us, we had an official ground breaking ceremony with the Watsonville Mayor and other friends and dignitaries present. |
| Site improvements began in around September 1998. |
After a great deal of earth moving and preparation, walls were placed and the foundation was laid. |
| And with each day that passed, our building gradually started to take shape. |
Interior walls were erected. |
| Exterior site work detail was completed. Those of you who know our place will notice that the hotel had not been built yet. |
Marc and Bill work on some interior details as Bill's son Hans look on. |
| The parts counter, a major focal point is near completion. |
Lettering and signage is put into place to comply with Corporate ID standards. |
| Finally, the day came to pack up our belongings in the old shop and move into this brand new building. |
When move in day came, the site work around the building had not yet been completed so we had to use the side door. |
| At a grand opening party, Bill is presented with two original sketches from the BMW design studio in Munich by BMW executives. |
And the rest is history. |
