Wunderlich offers an extensive tuning program with parts that allow the true potential of the bike to be revealed. The benefits are not only increased power or torque, but also a smoother running engine and a better, noticeable throttle response. The tuning components have been successfully used in long distance testing, such as to Siberia and Syria, and also in motor racing such as “Rally Agadir” or the 24 hour race in Lausitzring. The tuning components are suitable for the 4V Boxers (incl. 1200 GS and other 1200 models).
The "Performance Controller" allows all Boxer riders the option to influence and adjust the fuel settings, and therefore the performance characteristics, of the 2 cylinder BMW. Improved power characteristics, a smoother running motor (no more surging) and faster throttle response are promised. The Performance Controller is easily plugged into the existing wiring loom using simple connectors (no cutting or modifying loom)and manages to get more out of the 4V Boxer even with base settings dialled in. The extremely compact case (84 x 50 x 10 mm) is easily stowed away on the bike. Includes a 30 day return option, enough time to be convinced of the qualities of this system!

The "Boxer Boost" cam shaft is a main component of the tuning program. The BMW accelerates hard forward and reacts faster to throttle commands. The most important development criteria was to ensure that there would be no reduction in reliability, which was proven in many long range tests and extreme tours.
Available for all 4 Valve Boxer. Two versions available, for single spark models and twin spark models incl. all R 1200 GS, RT & ST.
For professionals by professionals - the adjustable cam sprockets "Vario Power" were developed together with tuning specialist Jürgen Klipfel. These quality machined sprockets enable to countervail the sometimes considerable works tolerances of the camshaft timing. The sprockets feature a number of spline holes that are positioned at different angles to the sprocket teeth. This allows the sprocket to be fixed accurately to the camshaft to achieve perfect timing.
